Her new chilled out, content demeanour has left us in no doubt that she’s absolutely head over heels in love with her hairdresser beau, and now it seems she wants to take her relationship with him to the next level. The 18-year-old is apparently engaged to Craig, 21, and has been showing off her shiny new ring (hehe) to all her friends. A source blabbed to the tabloids today: 'Cher's been telling anyone who will listen that she's engaged to Craig, despite originally denying the news. 'She's head over heels and has been sporting an engagement ring since last month.' It’s no surprise that Madonna felt pretty isolated and lonely when she originally moved over to Britain some years ago to be with her then boyfriend (and now ex husband) Guy Ritchie. Her friends and her family were all back in the US, so what did she do to ease her loneliness you ask? Well instead of going out and socialising like most people she started researching British history and eventually she stumbled across the story of Edward VIII’s abdication, which eventually inspired her to make her new film W.E. During a recent interview Madge revealed: “I really didn’t have any friends [when she moved to England], I didn’t know anybody, and I found myself in a strange world so I decided that I was going to educate myself and find out about the history and culture of this new world that I lived in.” “I’d heard about Edward VIII abdicating when I was in school. I knew that he had given up the throne for this American woman from Baltimore and that was it. “I researched it more and I was kind of transfixed by the idea that a man would give up such a powerful position for love. I felt that there was something kind of Shakespearean about it.” Wow, Madonna sure knows how to live. We have to admit, we were slightly surprised that Andrew Stone became the first celeb to be voted off CBB last night. He was up against model Georgia Salpa in the eviction and she was initially the favourite to go, so we were quite shocked when she didn’t. Having said that, the reality star is unbearably annoying and funnily enough even he could understand why people wouldn’t want him in the house anymore. During his exit interview he said: "I'm a bit like Marmite TV. Sounds like damage control to us, but whatevs! There's been quite a bit of speculation regarding why Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini were dropped from The Talk panel after its first season, with rumors that Julie Chen, who is married to CBS CEO Les Moonves, orchestrated the axing, but CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler has finally spoken out on the issue, and attributes it all to growing pains! She explains: “Any show in its first season goes through multiple changes. We were looking at a dynamic, we were looking at the quality of the commentary and we saw an opportunity [to improve the show]. The ratings have stayed virtually the same. The format may continue to evolve over time. Other talk shows have had host changes and survived as well. The most important part was the content and that the discussions have stayed spirited.” Hmm…so long as the content and 'spirited' discussions are what Miss Chen sees fit, right? LOLz!
